YourScope Consulting Ltd is a website design, development, and digital marketing agency. However, it didn’t actually start out that way.
YourScope originally came into being as a business specialising in the technical project and programme management space in 2013. It offered qualified Project Management resourcing and consultancy to large organisations to help them manage their large technical projects for them, whether it be a Data Centre move, a large database migration, or launching a software application.
Around 2014 YourScope also started to get involved in designing and building websites, particularly in the WordPress space. WordPress is the world’s leading Content Management System (CMS) powering over 30% of the entire internet.
Over the last few years, that side of the business has continued to grow. And the YourScope website itself organically grew to more and more reflect that side of the business. This had the side-effect that YourScope’s original raison d’être of Project Management was becoming less clearly visible as an offering on the current website. And re-inforcing that original message alongside the web agency message was illogical, after all, they are very much different services.
Given the two sides of the business are very different as core services (even though there is some overlap; after all, a large website project is a project that does warrant being managed properly), it was decided that the two service offerings should be fully separated so that both of their respective services and messages are no longer diluted, nor confused.
The original project management services will remain under the original YourScope brand, whilst the website agency side will now trade under the new Elixir Web Studio brand. Both entities, though, are still under the YourScope Consulting Ltd umbrella.
What Does This Mean?
In the grand scheme of things, really very little. For existing web agency clients, everything carries on unchanged, including Care Plans. Over the next few months, clients may notice that references will gradually change from YourScope to Elixir.
